Who we are
zamrik.com is the home of Zamrik Quant Lab and its research arm, Zamrik Quant Research. It publishes research papers, notebooks, tools and essays, and links to their YouTube channels. Contact: info@zamrik.com.
What this site collects
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web-server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security and operation. They are not used to identify visitors and are rotated by the provider.
- Search. What you type in the search box is sent to this site to find matching pages. It is not kept anywhere except in the server logs above.
- Email you send us. If you write to info@zamrik.com we keep the correspondence to reply to you.
- Contact form. What you send through the contact form (your name, email address, the desk you choose, a subject and your message) comes to us by email and is used only to reply to you; the site does not keep it, only a short record of when each message was sent and to which desk.
- Newsletter. If a newsletter sign-up is offered, we store the address you give us and the time and source of your consent, and every message carries an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. We do not send promotional email without your express consent.
- Comments and accounts. The site does not currently offer comments or user accounts.
- Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits: which pages are read, for how long, and which site or search brought the visitor. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off, and the data is not shared with Google for its own purposes. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are measured without cookies; everyone else receives Google Analytics’ two cookies,
_gaand_ga_M7H26C77PY. Any content blocker, or Google’s opt-out add-on, stops it. Editors signed in to the site are not counted.
Fonts, libraries and embedded content
Pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, and some mathematical and charting libraries from public content-delivery networks (jsDelivr and cdnjs). Your browser fetches these directly, so those services see your IP address and browser, under their own policies; this site sends them nothing else.
The interactive models in the essays are pages of this site. They run entirely in your browser and send nothing back.
If a page embeds a YouTube video, it uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player; YouTube may set cookies and collect data under its own policy when you play the video.
LinkedIn application
The “Zamrik Quant Lab” LinkedIn application is used only to sign in the Page administrator and to publish the Lab’s own videos and figures to the Zamrik Quant Lab company page. It does not read, store or process any other LinkedIn member’s data.
Cookies
Outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, visitors receive Google Analytics’ two cookies (see Analytics above); inside them, visitors receive no cookies at all. WordPress sets its own cookies only for a signed-in editor, and the Zamrik Quant Lab’s preview sets one cookie, zamrik_lab, only when someone enters its password; it ends when the browser closes. We do not run advertising trackers.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes. Data is shared only with the service providers that operate the site (hosting, email delivery, content delivery) and only as needed to provide it.
Your rights
You may ask what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@zamrik.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
